There's no other e-bike out there like the Specialized Vado SL.  It's an e bike that is light enough to carry, and yet offers you a huge range, a great amount of assisted torque, and numerous options whether you are looking for fast and sleek, or utilitarian with mudguards and racks.

With a fully integrated 320Wh downtube battery the Vado SL doesn't look like a typical e bike and shouldn't be treated as one.  The 35Nm of assistance from the motor offers you 240W of peak power which equates to 180% worth of assistance, or twice the power that the rider is putting in.

A super smooth, quiet motor from Brose provides this amplification, and with an optional range extender 120 miles of range is more than doable.

The Vado SL 5.0 Equipped offers you a multi use bike with the added benefits of fixed mudgaurds and a rack.  It features essentially a 12 speed mountain bike gearing system with a huge 50T rear cassette to get you up the steepest of hills even without turbo mode on!

It comes with 700c wheels equipped with 38C tyres for some "UK road riding" conditions, but these can be changed out to some gravel options if you want to head off the beaten track.
