Our lightest, most packable waterproof jacket.

This lightweight shell jacket (248g size L) is made for all-year mountaineering but works great for general outdoor activities, from trekking to ski touring. It’s very packable and therefore easy to always bring along.

We use the dri1 fabric because it is light, packable, durable, breathable (20,000g MVTR) and waterproof (20,000 Hydrostatic head/water column).

The dri1 fabric is made of 100% post consumer recycled Nylon face fabric made from Bureo yarns, 22d, 73g/m2. The inside of this textile creates a small microclimate between you and the PU membrane. In addition, the dri1 has a PFC-free impregnation.

Key features include: A helmet-compatible hood with one-hand adjustment, cuffs with Velcro adjustments, an elastic bottom hem, a zippered chest pocket, and zippered front chest ventilation.

The jacket has a technical fit with a Y-cut and articulated arms for good movement while climbing. A longer cut in the back ensures extra protection. No seams on the shoulders to prevent chafing when wearing a backpack.

Our first falketind jacket was introduced in 2006 to capture the demand of lighter all year shell jackets, and has evolved through several generations.
