It’s time for high pivot technology to make the leap from world cup downhill tracks to your local trail network.

At 130mm of rear wheel travel, the Forbidden Druid is a wolf in sheep's clothing. With geometry that balances stability and agility, the Druid is adaptable; nimble enough to hammer out trail rides after work, and burly enough for weekend shuttles.

Its high pivot Trifecta suspension platform has the ability to generate grip and pop almost simultaneously while offering an unworldly ability to absorb the big hits.

All over the mountain, the more you ask of the Druid, the more it gives.

Customise your ride

The Forbidden Druid comes as a frame only with a Fox DPX2 Shock as standard.  We are happy to sell the Druid as a frame only, a part build, or a full custom build.

We can build the frame into anything you desire whether we provide the parts or you do, and if you'd like a different shock option then we can sort that (additional costs apply as they will need to be tuned to the platform and bought in the first instance).

These custom options on this product are there to give you an indication of price and the brands we use most commonly on this frame.  Literally anything is possible so do not see this as a fixed template, it is simply there to give you a rough idea of what a fully built one would cost you.

The starting point for a newly built bike is around £5500 for "does the job kit and works well", and obviously the sky is the limit.  So far popular builds are SRAM AXS with Hope or Chris King,  Shimano XT with Deityt, and a GX Eagle with Burgtec.

We've already got the frames templated at Invisiframe so we can add in the ultimate in protection for your new frame (£180 fitted)

We offer 0% finance on all builds / part build / frame only buys with a min 10% deposit and you can spread it over up to 36 months.

We currently have medium in stock that can be demo'd (contact Ambleside for t's and c's), we have a large on site for sizing (not riding), and XL are due in November.

If you're after one we recommend you placing a pre-order as they only get made in small batches and each batch is on a 12 week run essentially.

If you'd like to know more or if you'd like a build putting together then just get in touch with our Ambleside experts who can put you something together.  We live breathe and ride full custom bikes so when it comes to builds we are very much your people.
