Workshop Classes are back for 2018!

WS Edit

Be honest – how often do you get your suspension serviced? Once a year, twice at a push? Whatever the answer is, I’m willing to bet that it doesn’t meet the 20 hour service interval guidelines suggested by Fox and Rockshox. It’s hardly suprising that so many people fail to meet these requirements – for many riders, a lower leg service every 20 hours would mean booking their bike in to the workshop every few weeks – a habit which would get very expensive, very quickly! There is, of course, another option. Learning to complete basic suspension servicing yourself will save you a huge amount of time and money, and will prolong the life of your fork and shock.

Monarch Edit

Throughout the start of 2018 Sam will be running classes in our Ambleside workshop – aimed at giving you the skills needed to undertake basic servicing on your Rockshox or Fox suspension, Reverb dropper post and Santa Cruz VPP suspension linkage. We are also offering the opportunity to have one-to-one lessons with Sam, covering a range of maintenance skills on your own bike.

The dates for the group sessions are:

  • Fox Suspension – 2 hrs - Saturday 6th of January
  • Rockshox Suspension – 2 hrs – Saturday 20th of January
  • Rockshox Reverb Dropper Post – 1 hr – Saturday 3rd of February
  • Santa Cruz VPP Linkage – 1 hr – Saturday 17th of February

The price for a two hour session will be £20, and a 1 hour sesion will be £10. Courses will run with a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 6, so get booked in early to avoid disappointment. Private classes can be booked with our workshop and will be charged at £40 per hour. If you would like to make a booking, or would like more information about our workshop classes, then please get in touch.
