These days most mountain bikes run on inner tubes with a Presta valve, but if you have an old stylee bike or a DH bike then you could still have schrader valves. Therefore we recommend a pump that will do both valves without any faffing such as the need to swap around olives etc in the head of the pump. A biketreks favourite is the Topeak Mountain Morph which cleavily unfolds to a track pump and then folds away to a mini pump! Or for ease of use the Topeak Peak DX which comes in a variety of colours and has a SMarthead which means it works on either valve type without any alteration needed. |
